How to setup cPanel Analog Stats

What is Analog Stats

It’s nice to see how much traffic there was on your websites. It can be used to decide what modifications can be done to your websites. There is an Analog software in the cPanel and you can access the data from this software through the cPanel interface. The software will collect the traffic statistics of your website and will store and organize it by month so that you can easily manage the website.
The Analog stats can be accessed from cPanel under Metrics section. The data will be arranged in graphs. There will be some additional information also. In this tutorial, we are going to see how to view the Analog stats from cPanel. You can follow the below steps to access the Analog Stats. 

Steps to access Analog Stats

Step 1

Login to cPanel. You could login to the cPanel by appending the port to the domain name. If you are having shared hosting with us, you could directly login to the cPanel from your portal at https://my.1onlyhost.net . To access the cPanel interface using the port method, you could follow the below description.

https://yourdomain.tld:2083 or

https://yourdomain.tld/cpanel/

This will lead you to the cPanel login page. You could enter the username and password for the cPanel account.

 

Step 2

Now go to the Metrics section and click on the Analog Stats icon. The screenshots are provided for reference.

Step 3

You would be redirected to the next screen and you can see the list of domains associated with the particular cPanel account along with a short description of Analog Stats.

You can view the details by clicking on the “View” button on the right end of the domain. It is shown in the below screenshot.

Step 4

As we’ve mentioned earlier, the visitor’s statistics is stored in the format of months. You can see the list of months for which the stats are available in the next page. The year also will be displayed and each entry in the list will be a link. you can view the stats of a month by clicking on the month, as shown in the below screenshot.

Step 5

Now you would be lead to the final page where the analog stats are shown. In the page, you could see General Summary as well as the Monthly Report. The General Summary will show the requests received, an average number of requests answered per day, requested pages, missed requests, etc. and you could see graphical representation under Monthly Report. A sample Analog Stats is shown in the below screenshot.
