Create and Manage Subdomain in cPanel
A subdomain is sort of a domain name that’s part of a larger domain name. In other words, a subdomain is an additional section of your main domain name. Within your main domain, you can have as many subdomains as necessary to get to all of the different pages of your website. Subdomains will help you to organize and navigate to different sections of your main website. While a subdomain is part of the main website, it’s considered a separate entity by search engines. How to create a subdomain in cPanel?
You can follow the below-given steps to create a subdomain in your cPanel interface.
1) Login to your cPanel account.
2) Go to the ‘Domains’ section.
3) Click on the icon ‘Subdomains’.
4) A new page will be open and here you can specify the subdomain name, main domain name to which you want to set the subdomain and the document root of the newly created subdomain. After filling all the required fields please click on the ‘Create’ button.
5) Next, you will be redirected to a page which displays the message the subdomain has been successfully created.
6) After going back to the previous page, you can see the newly created subdomain in your list of subdomains. Here you are able to remove and manage your subdomains.
