It supports Markdown and HTML code, as you can extend its features through plugins, or change the appearance of your Bludit demo through themes. Bludit is written in PHP, it stores the data in a JSON format so there is no need to configure a database. With the help of Bludit you will be easily able to build a fully functional site or blog in no time. The only dependency for a Bludit website is a webserver with PHP support. In this tutorial let’s have a look into the installation of Bludit on a Centos 7 server using Apache as a web server.

1) Login to your server via SSH as root.

# ssh root@IPaddress

2) 2) Always it is a good practice to follow before any new installations make sure that the currently installed packages are up to date.

#  yum clean all

# yum update

3) Download the latest stable version of Bludit.

#  wget https://s3.amazonaws.com/bludit-s3/bludit-builds/bludit-v1.6.2.zip

4) Extract the downloaded file to the document root of your website.

#  unzip bludit-v1.6.2.zip -d /var/www/html/

5) A half part of the installation has been completed. Open your favorite web browser and navigate http://yourdomain/bludit to complete the rest of the installation.

6) Select your preferred language for your Bludit website.
