4213 users (the maximum) are already logged in
The above error is most likely due to the misconfiguration on the FTP service on your server. In most of the servers for security reasons, the Maximum number of connections to accept from a single IP is set to 3, so that a user can login only 3 FTP connections simultaneously. To fix this situation, please follow the below steps:
1) Login to WHM.
2) Click on “Server Configuration”.
3) Navigate to “FTP server configuration”. From there you can edit the FTP configuration in server wide.
4) In order to fix the error on FTP, please increase the “Maximum Connections Per IP Address” to 8 or more. This will allow the user to connect 8 simultaneous connections.
5) Finally, you will need to click on the “Save” button to save all changes that you have made. This will restart your FTP server and all changes will be reflected there.
